Vice President Engineering

The successful candidate should be prepared to do hands-on development, establish a best-practice development infrastructure, build and manage a team.

Our environment involves:

• Working with large text volumes
• Development of text analysis and data mining tools
• Building an intuitive web-based UI to display the above
• Work under tight deadlines

The ideal candidate will have 10 years or more of software development experience with:

• Architecture, development and launch of web-based enterprise systems
• Establishing best-practice software development and testing processes from scratch
• Building and managing a software development organization
• Developing market-focused solutions
• Management of product development schedule and budget

Programming skills:

• Excellent C programming skills
• Excellent JavaScript, PHP and DHTML programming
• Experience with Win32 & ActiveX programming

Education:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
